Maintaining healthy radiant skin is a process for me. The older I get, the more the phrase “You are what you eat” rings in my ears. Following a healthy lifestyle with proper eating, and drinking lots of water is essential for my skin. Keeping up with a skin care routine is the other part of the process that is vital.
I have temperamental skin, and sleeping in makeup or not washing my face in the evening is the quickest way to spur a breakout for me. As much as I love skincare and experimenting with products, there are times that I’m tired and like to keep it simple with a face washing that is quick and effective.
In my fantasy world, I would have time each night to lock myself in a bathroom suite oasis and take my time with a long drawn out pamper session. In my reality, some nights I fall asleep on the couch and have to drag myself to bed. The nights like those I’m grateful for a simple face washing routine that isn’t complicated.
