Soflajo Frankie’s Lab Dance Swatch and Review

Nail Polish/ Nails/ Polish Colors/ Soflajo/ Swatches

Bwahhhhhhhaaaa I know it’s a little early but Halloween will be here before you know it and Jody from Soflajo has released an amazing collection of Halloween inspired nail polish colors. Personally I do not celebrate Halloween but the season is fun for those who do and who am I kidding I do enjoy seeing the happy children dressed in their costume trick or treating around the neighborhood. When I first saw the sneak peak at Jody’s collection they just screamed Halloween and it’s no surprise that it’s a favorite time of year for Jody.  So today I am showing you one nail polish color from the Terrified Collection.

When I first saw Frankie’s Lab Dance I pictured Frankenstein and Lady Frankenstein dancing around in the lab and on her nails this amazing iridescent green with orange, green and purple flecks.

From a distance it just looks like a medium dark green, but up close you can really see the the green, orange and purple flecks. This polish applied well and was opaque with two coats as shown. The glitters are not rough but as always I topped with a coat of Hong Kong Girl for a smooth shiny finish.

nails inc. Topping Lane Sprinkles

Nail Polish/ Nails/ nails inc./ Polish Colors/ Product Reviews/ Swatches

I can’t believe the summer is winding down already it went by so fast. Today I am bringing you this really fun cute summer polish from Nails Inc. If you are not familiar with Nails Inc. they are a leader in the nail industry based out of the UK. The company was founded by Thea Green back in 1999 when she was just 24 years old and working as a Fashion Editor in London. So now your are thinking okay I live in the U.S. and this is a U.K. company, but don’t fret dolls in 2011 nails inc. expanded into Sephora stores and is now available in the U.S. and Canada, YEA!

Topping Lane is named after a street in London, this a great summer color full of well sprinkles. Topping Lane has a pink base with deep pink, silver and purple sprinkles. The special effects give this nail polish just the right amount of shimmer and sparkle without being childish. I wore it on my nails to a wedding with a black dress and silver accessories. The glitters are not rough at all, this is with two coats and a top coat using hong kong girl gave it a perfect smooth finish.

Vivid Lacquer Hurricane Season Swatch & Review

Indie Polish/ Nail Polish/ Polish Colors/ Product Reviews/ Swatches

Hey dolls, so for today’s Try It Out Tuesday post I showing a new color from Indie Polish maker Vivid Lacquer.  This is Hurricane Season a very pretty dainty pale blue with micro glitter, small hex glitter and a very fine holo. This polish has a nice shimmer effect and with a few coats can be worn on its own or layered.

I did not have application issues with this color but I did have a hard time photographing just how much it shimmers. I hope you can see the shimmer in the pictures, this is not a flat color.
