Dedicating time to pampering myself is non-negotiable on my self-care must-have list. Being diligent with a skin care routine is a must for me, with equal importance on the face and body care. Now, I would love to be able to spend an hour every night locked away in the bathroom, soaking in the tub with a sheet mask but that is a rare treat. Most days it’s a quick shower in the morning while mentally running down my do to list.
Even when I don’t have time for a drawn-out relaxing routine, I like my shower experience to be still filled with luxury-feeling products. I’m low-key product picky even when it comes to the basics like body wash. My in bathroom linen closet stays stocked with a range of washes, lotions, oils, and potions.
Two of Olay‘s new foaming whip body washes are now in my body care product rotation. The Olay Foaming Whip Body Washes are so lovely, the scented foam has a luxurious feel to it, and after showering my ordinarily dry skin feels soft, hydrated and silky. One canister of Olay Foaming Whip Body Wash will run you about $5 and lasts for 30 or so showers; this drugstore gem won’t disrupt your budget. If you have dry skin like me; (I’m still working on not taking extra hot, long steamy showers), you’ll be glad to know this foaming body wash does an excellent job of cleansing without drying the skin.
I have to admit I was a little bit skeptical of a foaming wash at first; you know I was hoping the texture would be the right balance of weight that it doesn’t start to dissolve and slip off my hand but also not men’s shaving cream thick. The Olay foaming whip gets the texture just right; perfect weight, volume, and lather. You can even flip the product over and it won’t slip off your hand, it’s entirely weightless.
I always keep at least two body wash options in the shower. Sometimes I want a body wash with an understated but clean scent and other times one that is lightly scented. The Olay birch water and lavender foaming whip body wash is the one I’m currently using for my evening shower. The lavender scent is light and refreshing, perfect for helping me wind down after a long day. The shea butter foaming whip is my go-to morning cleanser, the smell is natural and doesn’t interfere with my perfume. I love that the foaming whip scents are noticeable but not overpowering.
Next time you head to the drugstore drop one of these gems in your cart. Which of the three scents will you try first? You can find the Olay Foaming Whip Body Wash at Publix or on Olay’s website.
