7 Must Have Products from It Cosmetics
This past weekend flew by, but I did manage to get a few things crossed off my to-do list. I planned on doing some much overdue Spring cleaning but didn’t get to that. I did, however, manage a Target run, scored a few great wardrobe finds at T.J. Maxx (including some blush pink peep toe booties).
In between sipping on some strawberry margaritas, I caught up with some bill organizing and other misc paperwork. There have been some great beauty sales the past few weeks, and while I should be refraining, I can’t help but grab a few things. The It Cosmetics Friends & Family Sale starts today, and I wanted to share with you a few products I have loved lately.
Bye Bye Undereye Eye Cream™ & Confidence in an Eye Cream™
Yes, I know two of the products on this light are eye creams, but there is a reason. I use both of these, and I love them both equally. Thankfully I started using an eye cream way before I showed any signs of aging. I am convinced this is why I don’t have many wrinkles in the eye area. A few very fine lines are creeping in, but they aren’t a cause for concern.
I have started to notice some under eye darkness and dryness that’s been lingering around beyond when I am stressed and tired. I have graduated from using an eye cream only at night to now also using one in the morning. The Bye Bye Undereye is ideal for a.m. use, the formula is hydrating, but it feels super light and doesn’t interfere with makeup. On the flip side in the evening I prefer the richer, thicker formula of The Confidence in an Eye Cream.
Bye Bye Makeup™ 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Balm
I branched out from makeup removing oils to balms this year, and this one is without a doubt on my list of favorites. The formula is light and airy; it’s not something super thick I have to dig out of the jar. Each time I use this, I’m surprised with how little of it I need. One small scoop of this balm massaged onto dry skin takes off even the heaviest of makeup off. From full coverage foundation to waterproof mascara every trace of it is removed, and my skin is left soft and hydrated.
Bye, Bye makeups formulation has antioxidants, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. On no makeup days, I sometimes double duty this balm as a mask letting it sit on the skin for a few minutes before removing with a warm, wet cloth.
Bye Bye Pores Primer™
If you have oily skin or noticeable pores check out this primer. I have found it is best to apply this by rubbing a bit between my fingers and lightly pressing it into the skin. I do not use this on my entire face. I only use this primer to the area with the large pores. My problem area for pores is a little section on the side of my nose and the cheek. When I use this primer and then apply foundation with a makeup sponge, my pores seem to disappear. The Bye Bye Pores primer leaves my skin with a nice smooth almost airbrushed looking finish.
I have the worst lashes ever. Seriously they are so thin and sparse and short. I am the worst with applying false lashes, besides they are a little much for everyday occasions. I love this Superhero mascara so hard; I can totally get away with one coat and look like I have some lashes. The formula of the superhero mascara doesn’t clump on me, and I get both length and volume. I have repurchased this several times, and I’ll be picking up another one during the sale.
Brow Power™ Super Skinny
I picked this up on a whim at Ulta last year, and it got buried in my stash. I stumbled upon this brow pencil during a beauty closet clean out and took it with me to Florida. I very quickly fell in love with this brow pencil and have used it almost every day since.
One end of this eyebrow pencil has a nice sized spoolie for grooming while the opposite side has the pencil for filling in the brows. The pencil is thin, making it easy to control, the color glides on effortlessly and stays put for the day. I am ordering two more during the sale, so I’ll have a backup. This pencil is available in 7 shades, you can check them out here.
Heavenly Skin™Skin Smoothing Complexion Brush #704
The Heavenly Skin Complexion brush is just the latest It Cosmetics brush to make my favs list; I have many others. I wanted to highlight this brush in particular though in case anyone is looking at purchasing the Confidence in a Compact Foundation. I have used that foundation and tried a few different brushes and methods of application, and none of them worked as well as applying with this brush. I have yet to try an It Cosmetics brush that I didn’t love, their brushes are excellent, and this is no exception.
