Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups

Food
Summer is winding down, and we are getting back into the swing of school. I can remember back when I was a kid eating lunch with my friends; I was always most excited to see what snack was in my lunchbox. Even now as adults both my the Mr. and I take a lunch to work and I know he looks forward to seeing what sweet treat I packed in his lunch.

Our household is focusing on eating healthier; that doesn’t mean we totally give up sweet treats, but we do make better choices. While shopping at the Save-A-Lot in Birmingham, AL and seeing all the fresh fruit, I picked up some beautiful fresh berries to make these super simple roll up fruit strips. diy fruit roll upsSave-A-Lot is a grocery that keeps consumer’s budgets in mind and offers quality products at prices up to 40% lower than traditional grocery stores. I love berries, and while I can usually snag a deal on strawberries, the blackberries and raspberries are usually a little pricey. This week I hit the jackpot and with all the berries reasonable prices I picked up all three to make a mixed berry rollup.
