I’m a creature of habit and routines make me happy. I probably have my strict parents and years of Catholic school to thank for that. The methods and products I use change from time to time but even in my chaos, there is always structure and always a routine. The older I get, the more focus I place on my “wind down time and taking care of my skin. I’m not much of a morning person, so the evenings are when I can move at a more leisurely pace, take my time, sip some tea in comfy pajamas and then tie my hair up and go about my evening routine.
There once was a time many years ago when my evening routine consisted of the changing into sweatpants, a quick face wash with anything, brush my teeth and tie my hair up in a scrunchie. Time for bed, give me 5 minutes. Now, oh no no, no honey bunny. I need to pre-cleanse, cleanse, tone, treat, moisturize, prep my hair, apply cuticle oil, moisturize my hands, stretch, meditate the list goes on.
Let’s be real, though, there are nights when I’m tired and over it and need to move it along. My age and quest to remain a card-carrying member of #teamnowrinkles is real though so you won’t catch me just using a face wipe now and calling it a night.
Anytime I can combine a few steps into one I’m game and adding the Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream helped me do just that. Unfortunately, I do have some skin issues that require treatment.
I started getting some acne as an adult and deal with hyperpigmentation from post acne inflammation, enlarged pores on my cheeks and little fine wisdom lines under my eyes. A few years ago I started to become more aware of the wonder of retinol, and it’s been a staple in my skincare regime ever since. The Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream is great because I can save time tackling my dark spots, fine lines, and any blemishes in one step.
Retinol encourages cell turnover, enhances collagen production, smoothes skin’s texture, evens tone and unclogs pores. Seriously, the major key to better skin is retinol. For the past few weeks, I have been super busy and following a simplified evening routine, using the Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream.
The Lumixyl 0.2 was not harsh for me or cause my skin to be dry. I’m used to retinol, so I can use this product daily with no issues but if you have sensitive skin or have never used a retinol before you may want to start with using every other night to allow your skin to adjust. In just a few short weeks of using the Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream, I already see results.
If wrinkles, thickness, dark spots or firmness are areas of concern add a retinol to your skincare, and thank me later. Now through 2/18/2016 you can save 25% on your purchase of Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream from LovelySkin.com. Click here to shop.
