The Holidays are upon us, oh what fun! Parties, gift giving, family time, travel, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all that the season brings.
I’ve complied nine beauty products to get you through the most stressful time of the year. From midday office luncheons to night time parties, these essentials from Ulta Beauty will have your makeup game on point for mingling through holiday events beautifully.
Dry skin is no one’s friend and if your skin is feeling a bit parched try adding one or two drops of the Tarte Maracuja Oil in with your moisturizer and let it set before applying your foundation.
When I’m looking for full coverage with no fuss and a foundation that will stay in place all day/night I turn to the L’oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. The L’oreal Pro Matte provides medium coverage and sets to a demi matte finish. For a healthy lit from within glow for daytime mix in a tiny amount of an Illuminizer cream like the NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in with your foundation. Kick up the intensity in the evening by applying a bit more after foundation to the cheekbones, inner corner of the eyes and the cupids bow.
Short on time but still want to sculpt your face a bit the PÜR Cosmetics dual contour stick will quickly become your friend. This creamy, oil free contour stick sinks into the skin, blends super easy, and sets to a powder for a very natural looking finish.
Shadow sticks are my favorite for when I want to keep a look quick and simple but need to add some color to the eyes. The Mally beauty evercolor shadow sticks are a primer and shadow in one. The creamy texture applies and blends easily, and the color stays put all day.
I love the look of false lashes but applying them isn’t my thing. When I want to make my eyes stand out I turn to the next big thing, the Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara. The cup-shaped bristles of the Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara push up lashes for ultra volume and lift to open the eyes.
When you need your lip color to last through talking, eating and drinking go for the L’oreal LeMatte Lip colour sticks. Matte lips are so in now and the formula of these won’t leave your lips feeling dry, plus they apply creamy and last all day with no feathering. For a bold color try going with shade Matte-R of Fact a nice rich berry tone.
We can’t forget the nails. This time of year when you’re busy and may not have time to update your manicure often a glitter polish will be your savior. When you’re short on time a quick coat of glitter can hide that your nails may need a little maintenance and when used as a topper can extend the life of your current mani, even hiding chips. China Glaze Break the Ice is a great pick for a fun festive glitter polish.
Holiday Makeup made easy, that won’t break the budget. All these products are available from Ulta Beauty.
