It’s no secret that skin care oils are my jam. It took me a long time to get on board with using oils but that I have, I’m Obsessed. For the longest time I fed into the myth that oils weren’t good for me because I had oily skin, boy was I wrong. Using oils has been a blessing to my skin, and the right ones even help regulate the oiliness. Over time I have come to realize that y skin is actually more combination than anything, sometimes it was dry and not using the right products was causing the oil production to go into overdrive.
The Jojoboa Company’s 100% Jojoba & Rosehip oil features two great skin care oils in one product with nothing extra. This combination is great for all skin types. The pureness of the oil makes it especially great for those with sensitive skin. The ingredient list of this oil is very simple, containing only rosehip and jojoba oils. Combining these two oils is amazing, some benefits include reducing inflammation, healing scars,anti-aging, balancing oil, treating acne and fading dark spots.
Jojoba Oil is one of my all time favorite beauty oils as jojoba is the one oil the most closely mimics the natural sebum that skin produces. Jojoba is not really an oil, it’s more of a liquid wax and can penetrate multiple layers of the skin. Jojoba Oil is non-comedogenic and non-allergenic, it won’t clog pores, and is non-irritating.
Now the second ingredient in this beauty oil from the Jojoba Company is Rosehip oil. Rosehip oil is a nutrient rich, antioxidant oil that aids with cellular regeneration. Rosehip oil restores elasticity, and shields the skin from environmental stress that can lead to wrinkles. Rosehip oil is also a natural way to fade dark spots. When I have acne the inflammation typically leaves me with hyper-pigmentation. Using rosehip oil immediately after a breakout usually helps the dark spots fade quicker.
You can apply this oil directly to the skin, which is typically how I use beauty oils. After cleansing and toning while my face is still damp, I apply a few drops into my hands and press into my skin. If you are new to facial oils and the thought of direct application freaks you out, you can mix 2-3 drops in with your moisturizer and use as a hydration booster . The 100% natural jojoba and rosehip oil is not greasy and absorbs quickly. Within two weeks of using this oil I started to notice my skin is balanced, softer and glowing. I also like to use a bit on my scalp when it’s dry and on my hands and cuticles; the beauty uses and benefits are endless.
Is a beauty oil part of your skincare routine?
