What’s In My Bag

Beauty/ Lancome

How often do you switch up your handbag?  There was a time that I would change it weekly or even more often depending on what I was wearing. Honey, them days are long gone. I’ll carry the same bag for months now, partly because I’m too lazy to move everything over to something else.

As I sit here debating on if I want to switch from the bag I’ve carried all summer I realize I am a bag lady. Not a baglady in the sense that I love handbags, although that is true also. I’m a bag lady in that , I’m that girl that carries everything but the kitchen sink in her bag. I have this crazy need to always be ready and anything you think you might need, believe me I have it in my bag.

All summer I have carried the Kate Spade Harmony Pebbled Ace of Spades tote and the matching  Adrianne Pebbled Ace of Spades Pouch. The tote and pouch make the perfect work bag. The pouch is a nice large size that fits all the essentials. I love that I can cram everything I need into it and just grab that out when I want to be out and about without carrying a large purse.

Here is a look at what I have in my pouch to keep me ready on the go.  When I lay it all out it’s nothing crazy right, just your basic woman essentials.

What's In my bag

Hand & Cuticle Care: I can’t stand to have dry hands, I keep a good hand cream on me.  Currently I’m using the Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk hand cream and the Sally Hansen Cuticle Reahab
Wallet: It took a while for me to get used to carrying a small wallet but I condensed things down to essentials and this one fits just what I need. This Michael Kors one also has a wristlet strap which I love so if I need to run into the store with just a wallet I can carry it securely.
Beauty:  The same way I can’t stand dry hands, dry lips are even worse. I would be panicking if I didn’t have a lip balm on me always.  There are actually a few lips balms in this pouch but the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is the one I have reached for most often.  I’m obsessed with rosewater mists and this Mario Badescu Aloe & Rose mist is perfect for on the go, combined with my Mac Blot Powder my face always looks hydrated and shine free.
Feminine Essentials: I keep track of things with an app so I’m never not ready, but sometimes you need light protection. The U by Kotex® curves liners offer serious clean and comforting protection. You can grab a $1 off coupon for U by Kotex® Liners at bringcomfyback.com
