Hi everyone, I’m Savannah from Addicted to Polish and today I have the China Glaze Electric Nights to show you. Electric Nights is China Glaze’s Summer 2015 collection. It consists of 9 brights/neons with cream/crelly finishes as well as 3 neon glitters.
Let’s get started! First up is Treble Maker. This one is a bright green/aqua cream that lean a little blue. Application on this was a tad thick. This is 3 coats. (You could get away with 2 if you use thick coats.)
DJ Blue My Mind is a medium toned bright blue crelly. The formula on this was okay, but it’s a little on the thin side, Make sure you don’t have too much polish on the brush! This one also stained a bit. This is 3 coats.
Plur-ple is a bright purple crelly. The purples in this collection made my camera freak out a bit, but these are pretty accurate. The formula on this was a little on the thin side, but otherwise good formula. This is 2 coats.
Glow With the Flow is a neon pink cream. The formula was okay on this, but had a few bald spots on the second coat and needed a third. This is 3 coats.
Red-y to Rave is a neon coral that leans orange. I wouldn’t really call this a red. It’s definitely eye searing though! No application issues with this one. This is 2 coats.
Home Sweet House Music is a bright pastel orange cream. I love these kinds of oranges! Formula on this was pretty good; no complaints. This is 3 coats.
Daisy Know My Name? is a bright almost neon yellow crelly. This one goes on really sheer. If you don’t like doing extra coats, definitely layer this one over white. This is 4 coats on it’s own.
Can I Get an Untz Untz has neon green, blue, and purple glitter in a clear base. This is shown with one coat over Home Sweet House Music. (My camera freaked out and made HSHM more pale)
Point Me to the Party is another neon glitter in a clear base, this time with pinks, oranges, greens and purples. I layer one coat over Daisy Know My Name.
Last but not least is Let the Beat Drop. This is another neon glitter in a clear base. The glitters in this one are orange, pink and purple. I layered this one over white and I love the way it looks!
Over all I really enjoyed this collection. The neon glitters are amazing and would look great over a variety of bases and as always, China Glaze has put out some great neons just in time for summer.
The Electric Nights collection is currently available in stores and can be found at Sally Beauty and ULTA.
Will you be picking any of these up? Thanks Mercedes for having me!
