I am the type of person that over does a lot. I over think, over pack, and over prepare. This can sometimes be a good, and a bad thing. More often than not, it’s a good thing. I am usually prepared for unexpected events. I carry two bags during the week when I am working, my purse and a some type of tote bag. Lately I have gone back to to my favorite messenger bag from Kenneth Cole. I love this bag because the style makes carrying it with weight easy, it’s roomy and has lots of storage and organization pockets.
I carry probably way too much on a daily basis, but I like to have all the things I might need, just in case.
Even though I track mother natures monthly visits on the calendar and with an app, she likes to be unpredictable sometimes. No one has time for accidents so saving the undies is a must. I always keep a stash of U by Kotex pads in my bag for unexpected times. The U by Kotex pads with the 3D Capture Core quickly draw in and lock away wetness for no leaks, and the unique shaped wings give a secure fit that helps prevent bunching making them more comfortable.
I recently discovered the Rescue Pastilles for natural stress relief. Some days at work can get pretty intense. Since most of my relaxation activities and since wine is not an option during the day these chewy lozenges are perfect for occasionally helping to tone down the stress.
I always have a notebook and pen in every bag. My mind never shuts off and I am constantly jottings things down. Everything from blog post ideas, to wishlist items, quotes and even grocery lists can be found in these notebooks.
I live for the Kushyfoot flats to go. I own way too many shoes than I care to admit, and not counting sneakers only three pairs are flats. I wear heels pretty much everyday and some are 5″. You can only imagine that by the end of the day sometimes my feet have had it. I keep a pair of Kushyfoot fold up flats in my bag at all times, I actually have a another pair that I keep under my desk. This are a lifesaver at times and hold up very well. The pair I keep under my desk I have had for over a year and even wearing outside on store runs they are still in great shape.
Deodorant, toothpaste, tissues and other random personal care items are a must. I also keep a mini sewing kit in my makeup bag, just in case I pop a button or something.
