You may have heard of spritzing a water on your face in the summer months as a way to cool down, or spraying your face after a flight for re-hydration but there are many other times when you
can should be using a face mist. I used to be one of those people who thought the idea of spraying fancy water on my face was a gimmick, and then I tried it and my life changed. Okay maybe it’s dramatic to say my life changed but seriously my skin care routine has not been the same since. If I made a list of the best kept beauty secrets, using a facial mist would without a doubt be in my top five.
The mist on the evain facial spray is super fine and one of the reasons this particular brand is one of my favorites. My standard use for the evain mist is after I wash my face and before I apply my serums. Misting the face first adds an extra layer of moisture and allows products to adsorb better. You can also mist your face after applying powder makeup to get rid of the dry powdery looks that can sometimes occur especially on dry skin. You can also spray a little on your foundation brush for easier blending.
To use, hold the canister 9-12 inches from the face and lightly mist in a circular motion. I keep a travel size canister on my desk at work and in my purse to refresh my face and makeup during the day.
