Organic Aloe Nourishing Healing Oil

Beauty/ Skin Care

I was first introduced to Michael Todd True Organics when I received a sample pumpkin mask in an Ipsy bag last year. After resisting the urge to taste the mask, I started checking out the brand. Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Organic Aloe Nourishing Healing Oil from Michael Todd True Organics. I have known about the amazing healing properties of Aloe for a long time, I used to keep a fresh plant in the house, but with my non-existent green thumb I kept killing them. At some point I will master keeping that plant alive, until then this healing oil is much easier to use. I have used Aloe Vera Gel in the past mostly to soothe burns; I am glad to learn it actually has many beauty uses.

This oil is rich yet lightweight and not greasy, the scent of the Lavender really stands out to give it a nice relaxing fragrance.  My skin has been super dry lately which usually happens in the winter so I don’t know what is causing it now other than maybe they super hot showers I take. This oil is a great moisturizer that heals the skin, with no greasy residue, also works well as a bath or shaving oil. I prefer shaving with oil over creams and this is one that doesn’t clog my razor. When my skin is dry it feels tight and this oil help relieve that tightness as well as diminished the appearance of stretch marks. I’m thinking this could be a nice alternative to some of the more expensive skin oils and great for pregnant women to help with the stretching skin.
The aloe oil has a medium consistency, it’s not as thick as straight aloe vera gel but not super runny. The medium consistency makes it easy to apply and spread.
Ingredients: Organic Glycine Soya, Lavender, Organic Aloe Barbadensis, Essential Oil.

*Ways to Use Aloe Vera Oil:

1. Replace creams and lotions as a general moisturizer for dry skin. Aloe is fast absorbing!

6. Treat burns from minor mishaps in the kitchen.

16. Use as conditioner for hair and scalp. Massage in, let sit for 30 minutes and rinse.
All in all I am very pleased with this oil and plan to purchase it when this bottle finishes. Side-note I have been using this for almost a month daily and I haven’t even made a dent in the bottle, so it lasts a long time.  P.S.
