Mia Mariu Microdermabrasion Set Review & Giveaway

Skin Care

There was a time when the thought of playing around with any type of at home skin treatment frightened me. Now that I am more comfortable and kowlegable about skin care I feel better diceiphering what I can tackle at home and what needs to be left to the Esthetician. With the latest products on the market I feel comfortable doing microdermanbrasion at home, and in fact it’s a regular part of my routine. For the past few weeks I have been testing out the Microdermabrasion Set from Mia Mariu

My skin is combination oil and since my late twenties has become acne prone which often means I am left with dark spots. I do mild exfoliation a few times a week but occasionally my skin needs something more. Microdermabraion has a ton of benefits  and I have found the at home kits are not overly harsh on the skin.

Key Ingredients are Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Beta-Carotene and Alpha-Hydroxy Acids
Benefits of Microdermabrasion Treatments
  • Brighten the skin by buffing away dead surface cells
  • Reduces the appearance of of sun damage
  • Reduces the appearance of large pores
  • Reduces the appearance of acne scars
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines
  • Improves discoloration
The Mia Mariu’s Microdermabrasion Set is non-irritating oil, paraben, fragrance free and suitable for all skin types.  For normal to oily skin it is recommended for use one or two times per week and for dry or mature skin it is recommended to be  used every other week.

Steps:
Apply a dime sized amount of Refinisher Cream in the palm of your hand;
Add a few drops of Thermal Activator and mix products until you achieve a creamy smooth consistency;
Apply with your fingers using circular movements. Do not rub;
Leave for three or four minutes then rinse thoroughly with warm water;
One of the great things I find with microdermabrasion treatments is you do get some immediate results. For me it takes some continued use to see an improvement in skin tone, however the texture improvement is felt immediately. Once I finish a treatment my skin feels extremely soft. Another plus with at home microdermabrasion is there is no down time, the Mia Mariu’s Microdermabrasion Set does not leave my skin red or irritated so I can feel confident using it anytime.
