When I checked out the ingredients I was very pleased to see Jojoba Oil present, and that it wasn’t way far down on the list. Jojoba is the oil that most closely mimics skins natural sebum, I know it sounds odd but oil helps dissolve oil, making oil cleansers great for oily skin.
Key Active Ingredients:
- Jojoba Oil
- Olive Oil
- Lavendar Essential Oil
- Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil
- Tamanu Oil
- Hemp Oil
- Sea Buckthorn Oil
- Geranium Essential Oil
This oil cleanser is a little thinner than I like, but even still it was not supper messy. The directions suggested to dispense onto a cotton ball first then apply to the skin. I choose to just dispense a bit into my hands and then just massage onto my dry face, I then use a hot damp cloth to remove the oil. The oil wipes away nicely. If you are using this as a straight cleanser you can skip the moisturizer after the hint of oil left behind is enough to keep skin moisturized and soft.
On a scale of one to ten I give this oil an 8 as a makeup remover and a 7 as an oil cleanser. The InstaNatural Facial Oil Cleanser was effective at removing all traces of my makeup. Everything from from my waterproof mascara to gel liners wiped away with ease, and bonus it is 100% natural.
I also love using this oil to clean my makeup brushes, I combine a drop of brush cleanser or dish soap with a few drops of this oil cleanser, and even the dirtiest of makeup brushes will look like new.
The InstaNatural Facial Oil is 4 fl oz and comes packaged in a nice glass bottle with a pump top for no mess dispensing. Oil Cleansers range widely as far as price points and for a mid range natural oil I really like this one. You only need 2-3 pumps for your entire face so this bottle will last you some time.
Price: $49.95 (currently on sale for $19.95, and I would grab it at that price)
