I recently testes out several skin care products from Jolie Femme, today I am going to talk about the 24K Bio Anti-Aging Thermal Line, and the High Frequency Device.
First up is the Bio Anti-Aging Thermal Line. This line contains three products which contain 24K Colloidal Gold, vitamins, and plant based anti-oxidants among other ingredients that work to relax facial tension. Over time the benefits include reducing the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles.
- Allergy Tested
- Fragrance, Paraben, & Alcohol Free
- 24Karat Gold
- Dermatologist Tested
- Suitable for all skin types
24K Bio Anti-Aging Thermal Mask ($525): This mask has an interesting texture, it was thick like a heavy night cream when I first scooped a bit out of the jar however as you start to apply it to your skin it thins out. The mask has a mild warming effect when activated with the Anti-Aging Serum. You apply this mask to clean, dry skin one to two times a week gently massaging it in.
After about ten minutes you rinse it off with warm water. I found that it rinsed off decent but I did use a soft washcloth to make sure I got it all off. This mask was great at clearing up blackheads, I noticed a improvement after the first use in the area around my nose specifically and also the pores on my upper cheek area.
24K Bio Anti-Aging Thermal Serum ($515): This serum is to be used in conjunction with the Anti-Aging Thermal Mask, I also used it with the High Frequency Device I will talk about later.
The texture is nice and silky, it does not leave the skin greasy. After rinsing off the mask I applied a small drop into my hands and patted on my face, in the morning I was left with moisturized soft skin awith a nice glow.
24K Bio Anti-Aging Thermal Cream (499.99): This non-surgical treatment cream helps reduce the appearance of deep facial line and assist in bringing out softer, radiant, more youthful looking skin. This cream has a very nice light almost whipped texture that applied smooth and absorbed well.
When massaging it in I concentrated to my problem line areas which are around the eyes and the smile lines around the mouth. After about two weeks I notice a minor improvement in the lines. The smile lines are my biggest headache as my makeup tends to crease into them and that hasn’t happened as much since
High Frequency Skin Care System ($349.99): I was pretty eager and a little nervous to try this device which can help treat acne and aging skin. I have used an at home light therapy before but never a high frequency device.
After testing an unrelated product for a review my skin reacted negatively, and broke out really bad. I decided that this was the perfect time to go ahead and pull this device out of the pile of products waiting to be tested and I am so glad I did.
The device comes with four attachments;
- Scalp Electrode
- Behind Ear Electrode
- Face Electrode
- Under Eye Electrode
So far I have only used the face electrode and the scalp electrode which I used with the 24K serum mentioned above. I treated the two sides of my face that had the breakout. The intensity of the frequency is adjustable, I kept it on low all the times I treated the area. After daily treatment for one week the breakout has improved. A few of the pimples were very large and painful. After the first treatment the inflammation of those was significantly reduced. The frequency treatment seems to have speed up the drying out of breakout, and I am hoping with continued use it will help to also speed up the healing and minimize the scares left. There was absolutely no pain associated with using the device, you do hear a a buzz sound when it first comes in contact with your skin and the device lightly hums as you use it. You must use this device with an oil, toner or lotion, not on dry skin. I have only used the scalp electrode a few times so no noticeable results yet, although it is very relaxing. I’ll come back an update again after using the device for a few months.
