My grandmother is the one who turned me onto the benefits of products containing minerals from the dead sea. A few years back her and Grandfather took a trip to Israel and Grandmother was sure to bring back some beauty products for me. I have been hooked on dead sea products ever since. Today I am showing you the Dead Sea Mud Shampoo from Adovia.
I am well aware of the healing properties of dead sea mud, but I had only ever used the mud in the form of a face mask. The minerals in Dead Sea Mud help regulate moisture retention and balance hydration. I have notoriously dry scalp and was eager to wash my hair with the dead sea mud shampoo.
The Dead Sea Mud Shampoo from Adovia also contains chamomile and olive oil to calm and balance the scalp. The shampoo has a very light sweat scent. I was very pleased with the condition of my scalp after the first use. My scalp gets very dry and itchy specifically in the crown are, where my hair is also a little courser. After washing the area was moisturized, and no itching. I found the shampoo to be a little bit drying to the shaft of my hair. Now I apply the shampoo to my scalp when I first get in the shower and let it sit for a few minutes, then wash apply just a little to the shaft of my hair and gently massage. The shampoo is also great at removing any product buildup on my hair.
