Monday is here again , and I am back with a post about a new to me all natural, cruelty free personal care product line. Have you beauties heard of Perfectly Pure? If it is new to you also let me give you some background.
Perfectly Pure is beauty line the uses the purest natural ingredients to formulate products for the skin, hair and body. For those of you that look for cruelty free brands you will be happy to know that Perfectly Pure never tests on animals. I tested out four products from the line, and was very pleased with all of them. So let’s get to the breakdown.
Coconut Oil: 7oz ($10)
The beauty uses for coconut oil are endless. I choose to use this one as a makeup remover. This coconut oil was very effective at breaking down my makeup, even waterproof mascara. I take a little bit and rub on a dry face, then wipe off with a warn washcloth. Another great use is as a general skin moisturizer. On no makeup days a also use a tiny bit in place of traditional moisturizer. Coconut oil softens, protects and nourishes the skin, this is a must have in every beauty cabinet.
Retinol Cream: 2oz ($18)
When I really got serious about skincare I quickly learned the importance of retinols. Retinol is a form of vitmain A and its antioxidant properties help reduce of the appearance of pores and fine lines. This retinol cream from Perfectly Pure delivers 100,000 IU per ounce for hydrated, soft, smooth and younger looking skin. Formulated without Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, Artificial Color, or Fragrance. My skin drank this up, you only need a little bit. This cream is a nice consistency without feeling heavy on the skin. I preferred to use this cream in the evening and used on my face, neck and decolletage.
Moroccan Argan Oil: 2oz ($20)
I love argan oil and always have some on hand. Another product with multiple uses. Argan Oil helps to restore moisture to the skin, nourish and balance dry hair, and tame frizzy hair. I like to apply a tiny bit to damp hair before below drying. I also sometimes press a little into my skin in place of moisturizer and even on my dry cuticles. This argan oil is a nice consistency, not too thick and not greasy, absorbs quickly and leaves skin with a nice glow.
For my beauties with mature skin, you are going to love this. I haven’t been sleeping well the past month or so and in the morning it has been showing on my face big time. This serum has been amazing to diminish the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes and even reduced the appearance of those pesky fine lines. This lightweight serum hydrates the skin and leaves it with a nice luminous appearance. After a few weeks I began to notice that my skin appeared less congested in my problem areas (cheeks and forehead) and pores appeared smaller.
Overall I was very pleased with all four of these products from perfectly pure and look forward to trying out some more things from the product line. What do you think, anything look interesting to you?
