Happy Friday Beauties! So remember a few weeks ago I mentioned I would be testing out the Olay Regenerist Luminous skin care line; today I am back with an update.

Younger, Brighter Skin with the Olay Regenerist Luminous Collection

I have been using the line for about two weeks now. My skin has been in pretty decent shape lately. I still have some dryness in certain areas and I could always use some brightening.  The past few weeks my life had been super hectic. The lack of sleep is wearing on me and definitely showing under my eyes.  The Olay Regenerist Luminous collection is geared toward anyone who has concerns with dull, uneven skin, it is supposed to help reveal luminous skin and create a youthful appearance. After using the three products from this line for about two full weeks I am on the fence about it, so lets break down the products one by one.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser This creamy cleanser contains very fine microbeads for exfoliation.

The microbeads were very fine in this cleanser and were not enough exfoliation for me. The good thing about the gentle microbeads is that they don’t strip the skin so everyday use it okay.  This cleanser has a creamy consistency and very little lather, was not effective enough at removing makeup for me. I will continue to use this cleanser with some minor adjustments. I need more exfoliation, and since I also need a separate product to remove makeup I think I will continue using the brightening cream cleanser in the am only.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream:   Featured antioxidant complex containing vitamin E, green tea, and OliveM to smooth, hydrate, and protect skin.
Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
This moisturizer was okay. It has a light perfume scent. I have sensitive skin and didn’t have a reaction to it, but wanted to note it for you ladies who are sensitive to scents in skin care products. I was pleased with the texture of this cream, my skin felt softer and did have a slight pearlescent glow. Although I liked the way my skin looked and felt with this cream it seemed to not absorb very well. At times it appeared to just sit on top of my skin. Oddly enough the tone perfecting cream made a nice base for foundation as it has a soft powder like finish. Unfortunately I didn’t do much for me in terms of moisture and I have combination oily skin. My thoughts are if you have very dry skin this may not be enough for you.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl: Multicolored pearlescent pigments that brighten and illuminate.

Now this product was an out of the park winner for me, I loved everything about this cream gel hybrid. The texture of this hydroswirl is amazing. It feels like a cream, gel, serum rolled into one lovely product. Unlike the tone perfecting cream I felt like this absorbed well. My under eye area was instantly brightened and  the appearance of my fine lines reduced. My makeup applied nicely over this and I noticed less creasing with my concealer.

I am going to continue using all three products and see what my results are after more time has passed. Have you tried the Olay Luminous line?  I would love to hear how they worked out for you.
