Hello Beauties. Whelp I knew this day would eventually come. Just did a weigh in and whomp whomp I didn’t have a lose this week. But on the bright side I didn’t gain either, I stayed the same. I have to admit the past few weeks have been a struggle. I am still on the Nutrisystem plan but I had a few mishaps. The first began a few weeks ago I was gearing up to start month 2. There were a few storms across the country and that combined with a mistake from fed-ex delayed my food delivery by a week. When my food finally arrived the frozen portion was completely defrosted and had to be discarded. The customer service at nutrisystem was amazing with dealing with this and had a new order processed for me. During this for about a week and a half I was not on the plan 100%.
My package arrived and I jumped right back into the swing of things. Still struggling a bit with my water intake, getting more in but still not as much as I should be drinking. Here is a look at some of the breakfasts I have been having.
At first glance the muffins are very small, but remember you can add a powerful. I make a dozen hard boiled eggs on Sunday and keep them in the fridge to save time. Morning without coffee is rough at times, but I need something hot to drink in the morning so hot water and lemon is my substitute. (FYI: Black coffee is allowed, but without the sugar and creamer I just can’t so I skip it)

I love oatmeal so I eat this a few times a week. I prefer to make the old fashion oats the long way on the stove but the Nutrisystem instant ones are not bad, I added a banana which is a smart carb, that really should be with my morning snack.
Another favorite from the frozen selection are the omelets. Normally I would add a meat power fuel to this but I ran out of the house this particular morning and forgot it. (It would have been a small vegetarian sausage patty).
Vegetables are a huge part of the program and I like to spice mine up about, here is picture of my latest go to, these are rosemary carrots. I’ll probably do a full post on these for an upcoming foodie Friday.
The other thing I want to mention that I am struggling with a bit is the desserts. With the plan I am on I get a dessert every night. SCORE, problem is most nights I don’t eat them. I cannot even believe it because I am a sweets junkie but for some reason since I have been on the plan I don’t have much of a craving for sweets anymore, and the plan is not depriving in terms of the amount of food. At the end of the day I am just not hungry anymore and usually forget to eat the dessert. I know it’s important to eat all the food I am allotted so I am going to make more of an effort this week to get those desserts in. I never imagined I would be on a “diet” plan and skip the desserts, go figure.
