I have a few high end skin care items to talk about today. I was giving the opportunity to test out three products from Gold Elements. The Gold Elements line assists with the reduction of wrinkles and brightens the complexion. The most notable feature is the products contain age defying ingredients with trace elements of gold. Yes, you read that correct gold. Each product was nicely packaged in a gold tone box. The bottles and jars were had a frosted gold finish to them.

D’or Facial Peeling $149 (1.7 fl oz) : This peel is to assist in removing dead skin cells, dirt and help unclog pores.

The consistency of this peel is very interesting and was unlike any product I have tried before. The peel comes in a jar and has a thick gel like consistency. You apply this to clean dry skin and massage gently then rinse with warm water. My results were just okay, the peel felt a bit sticky and was hard to manipulate. I did see some dead skin cells coming off as I massaged it but nothing major. My skin looked did have a nice glow once I rinsed it off but I didn’t see any noticeable difference in my actual pores. The price point is high for disappointing result, this is probably not a peel I would purchase being I have very congested skin and do battle with breakouts. If my skin was clearer and I just needed a little periodic maintenance I might consider it. You only need a small amount to cover the face, so for someone who wouldn’t need to use it often the cost might be worth it, not for me.
Intensive Softening Toner $129 (7.8 fl oz): This toner is to gently tone and re-hydrate , removes dead cells and allows the skin to breath.

The consistency of this toner took getting used to but I liked it. This is not your typical harsh liquid toner. This toner had more of a lotion type consistency, I found it better to apply with the large cotton round pads instead of a cotton ball. Toners can be harsh and over drying this one was not, it did not strip my skin at all and left it feeling soft and moisturized. About a nickel size amount, one light pump was enough to cover my face. The price is a little steep for me for a toner, but I was pleased with this product.
Age Treatment Eye Serum $449 (1.02 fl oz): This eye serum is to moisturize and plump the eye area, wrinkles appear smoother and dark circles lighter.

I am obsessed with eye creams, team no wrinkles. Anything I can do to slow down the signs of aging I’m all over it. Now that I am *cough* over 30, I am determined to keep the eye wrinkles away. When I first pumped a bit of this eye serum out I was amazed, I’m pretty sure I let out a loud whoa. You could really see the gold elements and this serum applied like liquid silk, I felt like it just melted into my skin and was so soft. Because I am also obsessed with having soft young looking hands I also rubbed some into the back of my hands. I use skin care in a range of price points, if I fall in love with a product and it’s working for me regardless of the price I work it in to my routine. With that being said this eye cream is still a bit higher than I would normally spend on any one skin care product, but I really really like it, Aghhhhhh. I have to say I like this so much that I actually would consider purchasing this, but let me be honest if I did I would be stretching it out as a once a year purchase.
What do you think, would you ever break the bank and splurge on luxury skin care? I browsed the Gold Elements site and there were quite a few products that peaked my interest.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
