Guest Post Cherry Blossom Nail Art with Cosmetics Aficionado

Guest Blogger/ Nail Art
Happy Monday lovelies, Today we are kicking off the week with a nail art guest post, I absolutely love what Leticia created and I am sure you will also. I found Leticia’s blog earlier this year and have been hooked ever since. In addition to being a super sweet person, she does great makeup posts.
Cherry Blossom Nail Art

Winter is in full swing, and while I love winter weather and clothes there is a part of me that still longs for Spring. Spring always makes me think of cherry blossoms, and I got the urge to paint some on my nails. I used a base of Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint, which is one of the many China Glaze For Audrey dupes out there. I like how red tones pop off the color.
I am not the best at painting with polish, so I used acrylic paints for the design. I used a dark brown for the branches and then highlighted with a slightly lighter brown. For the flowers I worked light to dark, starting with a soft pink to make the flower, a slightly darker pink for the center of the flower, and a red for the very center of the flowers.
I am pretty happy with how this turned out, and plan to wear it again when it really is Spring.
