China Glaze Happy Holiglaze Swatches & Review (6 shades)

China Glaze/ Nails/ Swatches

Today I have a few colors from the China Glaze Happy Holiglaze Collection. The six colors I’ll be showing you today are perfect to kick off the season, but can easily carry you on through the year.

All wrapped up: A blue micro glitter.

Put a Bow on it: A fuchsia micro glitter. This was my favorite of the six, great application and didn’t dull. It has a nice amount of sparkle.
Santa red my list: A deep pink foil. I was pleasantly surprised with the application with this one, it was great for a foil. Nicely opaque with one coat. Shown with two thin coats.
There’s Snow one like you: A white textured polish with large white hex glitters. Application was kind of wonky with this one. I was expecting it to me more like the black textured polish Bump in the night from the Monster’s Ball Collection, but it’s totally different. I went a it heavy on the application so I could really get the texture to show on the photo. Honestly at first I wasn’t sure I liked this one but over time it has grown on me. For those of you who are good at nail art I can see you doing a lot of things with this one. Shown with three coats, you can get away with two depending on the level of texture you want.
Mingle with Kringle: A gold foil. I always have trouble with foil polish application as you can see gold all over my hands. This one was a bit on the thin side so be careful not to load up the brush or you will get some pooling around the cuticles. Keep coats thin and you should be fine.
Be Merry Be Bright: Red and Purple Glitter in a clear base. I didn’t love the application of this one, it was a tiny bit thick and applied uneven for me. I’m thinking instead of using it as a topper next time I might try it in a jelly sandwich.

Even with the great themed names these colors can definitely take you beyond the holiday season. The entire Holiglaze collection is available now at various retailers.
