Before I show you the individual colors, let’s talk formula. The four medium level holographic nail colors had the exact same formula. Each applied smooth and even and was good with two coats. If you want a more intense holo look go ahead and add a third coat. The one glitter applied well also, it was not chunky or thick. I good amount of the shaped glitters came out each time, which I was happy about because I hate when a polish has nice shaped glitter but I have to go fishing for them. I did two coats over a solid base and one topcoat layer. Now on to the swatches.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Swatches & Review The Once More with Feeling CollectionBlue-Eyed Girl Lacquer. Holographic Nail Polish/ Nail Polish/ Swatches
Happy Friday lovelies, today I have a few nail polish swatches from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer. You may already be familiar with the lines creator Julie, the blogger behind Wishes of a Blue Eyed Girl.
Blue-Eyed girl lacquer actually has a few collections, but today I am going to be focusing on The Once More with Feeling Collection an homage to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Collection has three categories the gang (aka the Scoobies), the demons and the vampires. Today we are all about the Scoobies which contains four holographic nail polish colors and one glitter.
Tact is Just Not Saying True Stuff, I’ll Pass: Based off the self-absorbed and yet oddly heroic Cordelia Chase. Nude leaning taupe linear holo with a green flash. This was by far my favorite of the four holos
Tea is Soothing. I wish to be Tense: Based off of Rubert Giles, the Watcher. Blue linear holoh with an ice blue flash.
Love Makes You Do the Wacky: Based off of Willow Rosenberg, the most bad-assed witch. A dusty purple linear holo with a fuchsia flash.
Dorkhead? You Slash Me with your Words: Based off of Xander Harris, the one who sees everything. Pale green linear holo with a strong green flash.
The Scobies: The gang’s self styled moniker to describe their meetings to discuss strategies and status of “the big bad” in Sunnydale. Clear base with red micro-flakies, burgundy micro glitters, hexes and squares in burgundy, caramel, gun metal, and red, red holo hearts, silver holo moons and tiny black stars. I applied this over one coat of China Glaze’s Red-Y & Willing.
Don’t these make you want to go back and watch some old episodes, thank goodness for netflix.
Before you watch head on over to Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to purchase. The holos retail for $10 each and The Scoobies Glitter is normally $8 currently on sale for $6.00
