So glad it’s Thursday because that means the weekend is just around the corner, whoop. So I am really excited about today’s post. Recently I have gotten more and more into Indie Nail Polish lines and when I was given the opportunity to review some polishes from Shimmer I jumped on it. Shimmer da da da da da da oh honey honey these are some gorgeous glitters. I had so many lovely polishes from her line to show you but I didn’t want to overwhelm you so I am going to break them down into three or four posts based on color schemes. Today we have the gold and silver glitters. Each Shimmer polish is named after someone the creator knows personally, I love that simple little personal touch to the line. These Shimmer Polishes are more than just glitter for me I was most impressed with the dimension they have, they are like chameleons the base color you choose can give them all a different effect. So if sparkle is what you want, let me tell you honey Shimmer delivers, are you ready to see? Let’s go
Natalie: Natalie oh Natalie how I love thee, I so didn’t want to take her off the most beautiful blend of blues, golds and coppers.
Valerie: Copper, Silver and Black with hints of orange and turquoise.
Vanessa: At first glance this appears grey and black but a closer inspection reveals some red and even blue glitters.
I was blown away by the formula of these, absolutely no application issues. Sometimes heavy glitter polishes can be thick and hard to apply, nope not Shimmer, perfect formula, I didn’t even need to shake the bottles before applying. Honestly one of the reasons I had always been hesitant to trying new indies was a fear of bad thick gliiter sludge. The quaiity of these glitters is amazing I can tell the maker really did her homework and tested. Flawless.
