This week is flying by already, here we are at Wednesday and back to the regular schedule for some of us after the Holiday Weekend. Whomp Whomp. Today I have a hair post for you and if you like to sometimes but some curls in your hair then this is just for you. Conair has three new products out to give your curls, curls, curls for days.

I have curly hair but lately I have been wearing my hair straight. The process to go from curly to straight can be daunting at times so I am willing to try almost anything to help speed up this process. I washed and conditioned well then let it air dry 75%. Before using the curling iron I need to straighten these curls, so when my hair was almost dry I sectioned off and finished drying with the help of the Conair Carbon Smooth anti-static round brush.

Carbon Smooth Technology allows for faster drying time, fights static and adds shine. Personally I find when I let me hair air dry a bit then go in and finish it off with the blow dryer and round brush I get great volume and body. This brush also has a cushioned ergonomic handle which definitely made it more comfortable to hold.

The Conair Carbon Smooth Extra-Large Thermal Round Brush is available nationwide at mass market and drugstore retailers and average retail price $9.99.
The Infiniti Pro Auto-Rotating Curling Iron is slightly different than the traditional curling irons you may have used. This new curling iron has a barrel that spins to create the perfect curl. Now I will admit this definitely had a slight learning curve for me and took a few tries to get used to, I had never used an auto-rotating clamp curling iron before.

The barrel can spin both ways; a few times I hit the button to spin it in the wrong direction, whoops. No biggie though your hair will not get tangled in it or anything. After a few practice runs I got the hang of it and was on my way to a full head of bouncy spiral curls.

The tourmaline ceramic barrel heats evenly eliminating hot spots and gave me shiny curls without using any product. If you have course hair that is hard to curl this iron gets nice and hot up to 400°F.

The Infiniti Pro by Conair Auto-Rotating Curling Iron is available nationwide at mass market and drugstore retailers, and at average retail price $94.99.

Next up is the AdjustaCurl. These adjustable self-grip rollers start out flat to let you create any size curls while also providing lift and volume. Featuring tourmaline’s ionic technology to reduce static electricity and provide shiny, silky, hair.

The Conair AdjustaCurl™ Self-Grip Rollers are available nationwide at Kmart and Rite Aid, and at average retail price of $14.99.
You can use these to create curls or just add volume.  The flat design takes up little space for storage and makes them easily portable.

These did give me great root lift and volume but I had to use some hair spray to get lasting hold. When I used them without a hairspray the volume didn’t last very long, the hot humid weather probably didn’t help either.  I am not completely sold on these but not giving up yet, I will put them away until winter time and then pull them out again, I definitely think the weather played a role in these not working out so well for me.

Sometimes when I straighten my hair I still like some bounce and movement, not slick straight flat hair. Here I used the rollers to give lift at the root and I curled the length of my hair with the auto-rotating iron and used a paddle brush to lightly brush the curls out a bit.
