Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Review

BB Cream/ Loreal/ Product Launches/ Skin Care
bb cream for african americans

BB Creams seem to be all the rage lately and in true product junkie fashion I must try them all.  This Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream contained vitamins C & E and is aimed at hydrating, correcting, evening, and perfecting skin tone while over time helping to beautify skin.

When I first squeezed a bit out of the tube I thought ehhhhh this is not going to work.

Loreal BB Cream

I choose the shade deep.  Typically BB Creams are not available in a range of colors for darker skin tones so deep it is. but even the deep had a noticeable white cast to it straight from the tube, admittedly I was nervous. The texture of this BB Cream is also much different then any one I have tried before.  This BB Cream contains Beautifying Beads of pigment that give it a slightly gritty texture I wasn’t use to. After all we are applying a moisturizer not exfoliating.

Once you start to work the cream into your ski the beads dissipate and blend in and the color warms up. The white cast did go away a little bit but I found the coverage on this BB Cream to be very very light. If you have imperfections or discoloration this will not cover them.

So for a BB Cream to wear alone on my no makeup days this one doesn’t fit the bill, but I did like it as a base, and most offer end up dusting some of my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish on top of it for a little more coverage and to warm up my look.
I have been using this for a little over a month and have not noticed any improvement on my skins tone or texture although it does hydrate well and did keep me from getting oily during the day. The retail price for this BB Cream is $10.95 it is available in four shades, Fair, Light, Medium and Deep.
Have you jumped on the BB Cream trend, which one have you tried?
