Getting back into working out with 20 Second Fitness

I know you may already be skeptical from the title of this post, 20 sec fitness yeah right. Well hold on let me tell you a little bit about it. 20 Second Fitness is a fairly straightforward simple concept. You do 20 seconds of a high intensity workout, then rest for 10 seconds. You repeat this process for 4 minutes twice then a final 2 minute set. This fitness routine mixes things up to keep you enthused and make the workout fun. We know working out for just 20 seconds is crazy but it’s not really just 20 seconds. With breaking the effort into 20 second intervals you don’t feel overwhelmed, while still boosting metabolism and building lean muscle.

One of the best features of the kit for me in addition to the resistance bands and jump rope was that the first dvd teaches you the proper form and technique for all the exercises you will do in the program.

Overall I think this will be a good program. So far I have been doing good with the workouts and not slacking. The quality of the dvd is a bit basic in comparison to other workout dvd’s I have but its a basic plan so fancy sets and quality are really not needed. Their is a timer right within the dvd so you don’t need to use a separate stop watch to count the intervals  And the good thing when doing the workouts is you can adjust to your pace and fitness level. For example even for just 20 seconds push-ups are hard for me, I am out of shape. But you can adjust and do the girly push-ups if you want, the workouts are flexible  My goal is to loose about 25 lbs, so stay tuned I will be blogging about my progress with this workout plan.
