Lex Cosmetics Swatch & Review

Indie Polish/ Nail Polish/ Nails/ Product Reviews/ Reviews

If you have not heard of Lex Cosmetics you are really missing out.  There are so many things about her company that I just love. First off all Lex Cosmetics polishes are free of Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene this is something that is becoming increasingly important to me.  Lex Cosmetics has a great feature, the colors are created by the consumers. Lex Cosmetics came about after the founder Lex was on the search for the perfect seafoam green nail polish. Seafoam green just happens to be one of my favorite colors.  When Lex couldn’t find exactly what she wanted she created the color for herself. Realizing many women face this issue, Lex Cosmetics was born. So you can actually get your colors made. You can visit Lex Cosmetics and upload a photo and tell your color story, why you love the color and what about it inspires you. How amazing would it be to have your color created. As if that is not amazing enough Lex Cosmetics donates a percentage of all proceeds to organizations and non-profits that are important to its consumers. Lex Cosmetics comes across as a company that is really in tune with their fans and I love that. So enough of my rambling already on to the color. The color I used was Tuileries. This is a very pretty, very feminine pink with a hint of red and silver, red, pink, and orange glitters. This polish applied very well. Good coverage on its own with three thin coats but also layered very nice over a solid polish. The glitters were very smooth so one coat of a regular top coat was all I needed.
