Favorite Things April

barielle/ favorite things/ Glisten and Glow/ nyx/ Zoya
I cannot even believe we are already in May, it seems like April flew by. So it’s the time again to rewind and take a look at some of my favorite things for April.
 Glisten & Glow
During the month of April I came across the company Glisten & Glow owned by a sweet lady by the name of Jill. I love having unique products and when I found out the Glisten & Glow can customize a wide array of bath and body items for you I was all over it.  I ordered a few items and they were all divine. Even though I do a favorite things post every month I do have a list of all time must have items and the cuticle oil from Glisten & Glow makes that list. The fragrance I choose was Sangria White Peach, and each time I use this I almost want to drink it, the smell is that wonderful.
How awesome Jill can even create a custom label for you
Simply Cranberry & Simply Lemonade with Mango
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better the makers of Simply Orange did it again. I have been drinking varieties of the Simply line for years and am addicted to the Simply Raspberry Lemonade. I nearly fell over walking through Target when I spotted these two new varieties. Could it get any better? Yes, yes it can these new versions are YUMMY and just in time to cool down on these warm spring days.
If you are a novice or an expert when it comes to makeup everyone needs to own this palette.
This Neutral Colors palette by NYX Cosmetics contains 20 eye shadows and 10 lip colors.
The colors are perfect for ANY skin tone and apply and blend excellent. I picked mine up during a 40% of sale at Ulta, it retails for $24.00. I have used it every day since I got it. Already bought a back up.
Zoya Spring Break Trio
I have yet to try a color from Zoya that I didn’t like and the Spring Break Trio was no exception. A great way to roll into spring. You can read my review of each color here.
Favorite Blogger
I have found some wonderful blogs this month, but my favorite is Princess Polish. Princess Polish was my favorite of all the new blogs I found because in April she held a Cosmetics for a Cure raffle to raise money for Relay for Life. I was so proud to see how many bloggers and business donated prizes for the raffle and the great readers who donated. Princess Polish exceeded her goal and raised $1,831.00
Barielle 60 Second Mani-Pedi
Rolling into Spring also means the start of the open toe shoe season. That means if you haven’t been taking care of those feet all winter you have some catching up to do. Barielle’s 60 second mani-pedi to the rescue. Retailing for $25 it pays for itself in one saved salon visit. Read all about it here
I am in love with the show The Voice, sadly it is soon coming to the end of its current season. This season showcased a lot of really talented singers. I am not sure I had a favorite. But I have to admit I was disappointed to see Katrina Parker from team Adam get eliminated the last round.  Before being eliminated she sang one of my favorite songs. During that episode they kept referencing Lauren Hill, however Killing me Softly was originally sung by Roberta Flack and remade by the Fugees, a group in which Lauren Hill was a member. You can check out Katrina’s version here.
Are you familiar with any of the items on my list? Have your own list of favorite things? I would love to hear about them.
