Essence Cosmetics

Essence Cosmetics is a trendy and and unique cosmetics brand, at affordable prices.  Today I am bringing you three items from their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

This is the Nail Polish shade Glamorous Life. A quick dry raspberry colored jelly polish with a hint of shimmer. Retail Price $0.99

This is the Vamp It Up eyeshadow quad. The colors went on sheer, but can be layered for a more intense pigmented look. They were not chalky and blended well. Retail price $2.99

 

 

This is the liquid waterproof eyeliner. Retail price $2.49  This liquid eyeliner really impressed me. The brush was just the right size and I was easily able to draw a straight line, it held up all night with not a smudge, but was easy to remove with one swipe of my eye makeup remover.

These are two eye shadow looks I created with the quad and the eyeliner. The fist look I used the purple and the charcoal grey and the second look I used the blue and the yellow. 

 

 

You definitely cannot go wrong with anything from this line, and the price point cannot be beat. Essence makeup is trendy and fun and I would say great for teens or anyone new to makeup. Essence is available in 55 countries. In the US you can find Essence at Ulta, HEB, and Fred Meyer. In March 2012 Essence launched in the Canadian market where is will be available in over 900 Shoppers Drug Mart Stores.
