CoverGirl & Olay Tone Rehab Foundation Review

CoverGirl/ Foundation/ Makeup/ Product Reviews

Let me start by saying Cover Girl & Olay totally hit the mark with this new foundation and serum Tone Rehab.  The best of worlds this is a nice creamy foundation + serum that covers discolorations, helps smooth fine lines and over time improves skin tone.
The Tone Rahab 2 in 1 foundation is an 11fl oz pump and retails for between  $12.98 – $16.99 depending on where you purchase. It is on sale at CVS right now.
                                                                           Comes in 14 colors.
Ivory 104
Classic Ivory 110
Creamy Natural 120
N Beige 125
Buff Beige 125

Medium Beige 142
Warm Beige 145

Golden Tan 157
Classic Tan 160
Tawny 165
Soft Sable 175
I will say that I feel it runs a little on the dark side I picked up 175 soft sable and it was just a tiny bit darker than I needed, but from looking at the bottle it looked right.

Don’t let the swirls fool you this foundation went on incredibly even and smooth. It is light but with good coverage and left a nice natural finish. Perfectly covered my dark spots but did not feel heavy like I had a ton of makeup on my face. This foundation blended very well. I used a sponge to apply (I like to use a damp sponge for even blending, so I mist my makeup sponge with Mac Fix+, this also helps it stay put)
I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with how much I really liked this foundation as I usually don’t go for drugstore brands. I love the creamy consistency, it blended better than a liquid, and didn’t leave me shiny at the end of the day. A tad bit pricey for the amount you get, but with the pump style dispenser you get just the right amount of product out and it doesn’t take a lot to get good coverage.  This is definitely a winner and will have a spot on my favorite things list.

  • This is worth giving a try if I could find the right shade. I don’t use foundation often and the only one I’ve found that works well for me is rather pricey.

  • I have been wanting to give this one a try because I have a problem with dry skin and the mix with olay and serum interested me, but haven’t seen many reviews on it. I will probably check it out now.

  • I saw this in an ad…I may have to try it. Looks amazing!
